On the occasion of Alice Chalifoux retiring from the Oberlin Conservatory, the Oberlin Conservatory harp studio organized a surprise harp ensemble performance with ten harps.  Hundreds of former students, colleagues and friends of Miss Chalifoux were in attendance. The harp studio also raised money to purchase a Salzedo Model Harp to donate to the Conservatory in Miss Chalifoux's honor.  It was a great success and she was surprised indeed!
